Hello Todd Parr!

Hello readers! Today, I want to share with you some cool art that I worked on 4 years ago! It’s inspired by one of my favourite authors/illustrators – Todd Parr. My mum used to read his book about families to me when I was little. He writes about why it’s ok to be different. I hope you read his books and try out his art. I will also post a YouTube link that can show you steps on how to draw.

I am an African! I am a proud Ghanaian from the matrilineal tribe of the Ashantis. I am blessed with a multicultural background: born in Italy, raised in West and East Africa, studied in Washington DC and London, lived for over a decade in the city of gold, Johannesburg and now living in the beautiful country of Côte d’Ivoire. The Afro Optimist Blog expresses my thoughts (often unconventional wisdom) on social, cultural, economic, family, lifestyle and many other issues of relevance to Africa and Africans
